Great Allegheny Passage
The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) is a rail trail connecting Cumberland, Maryland, with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Most of the trail was built on the abandoned grades of the Western Maryland Railway through Connellsville, then on the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad on to Pittsburgh. The trail's total length is 150.0 miles. The trail offers some great views and holds a lot of history. Below are photo's of a trip from Meyersdale, Pa to the Salisbury Viaduct.
